Address: Thousand Oaks, Ca We rescue Persian and Himalayan cats. All cats are seen by a veterinarian, treated as necessary, spayed or neutered, given appropriate vaccinations, tested for FeLV and FIV, groomed and bathed (including shaving if necessary), and evaluated for personality and likes and dislikes. We try to match each cat with the best available home. We do have an adoption contract in which the adopter promises to keep the cat indoors, give it proper veterinary and grooming care, and return it to us if it cannot be kept for any reason. Our adoption donation is $125, which rarely covers the costs we put into each cat but which does help; the adoption donation also helps to show the seriousness of the adopter. We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, so adoption donations are tax deductible. |
